The nineteeth century. The north of England. Jane Eyre has no parents and no money. She goes to live at Lowood school.The pupils at Lowood are cold and hungry. Many puoils become　sick and die. After eight years, Jane goes to work for Mr Rochester. She is a teacher in his house,Tornfield Hall. JAne lokes Mr Rochester. But she is frightened at Thornfield Hall. Jane hears someone laughing.At night, someone walks along the dark corridors of the house.

I was sad to know her situation.

BR:19 Henry Vlll and his six waves

There were six of them there Katherines, two Annes, and a Jane. One of them was the King's wife for twenty-four years, another for only a year and a half. One died, two  were divorced, and two were beheaded. It was a dangerous, uncertain life.
After the King's death death in 1547, his sixth wife finds a box of old letters one form each of the first five wives. they are sad, angry,frightend letters. They tell the story of what it was like to be the wife of henry vlllof England.

BR:18 New yorkers

A housewife, a tramp, a lawyer, a writers, an actress ordinary people living ordinary lives in New York at the beginning of this century. The city has changed greatly since that time, but its people are much the same. Some are rich, some are poor,some are happy, some are sad, some have found love,some are looking for love.
O.Henry's famous short stories This story is sensitive, funny,sympathetic. This give us vivid pictures of the everyday lives of these New Yorkers.

My favorite city is New York, so I was happy to read.

BR:17 A tale of two cities

In 1775,Two cities are London and Paris.

The prisoner from 105 North Tower of the Bastille Prison is free. But why was he in prison in Paris for eighteen years? He leaves Frances and travels to England. Will he and his family be safe from their enemies?

 I was nervous to read this book. This story is related to war. I could know that the history of London and Paris.

BR:16 The Three Musketeers

"I'm going ti England," D' Artaganan replied." Someone needs my help. But it will be dangerous. There are people who may try to stop me."
"You'll need our help," Aramis said. "You know the musketeer7s motto" "All for one and one for all!

D' artagan wants to become a king's musketeer. But first he must show that he is a strong and brave fighter. He can find Constance, the woman loves he.
 I know this story. I was moved that D' artagan can show his brave and strong. It was an interesting story  for me.

In 1797, the Mediterranean. Britain and France are at war. British warships are fighting French warships.

Claggart hates Billy. And he has a plan. He will make trouble for the young sailor.Young Billy Budd arrives on the British warship, Indomitable. Billy is strong and handsome. Most of the sailors on the ship like Billy. But he has an enemy, John Claggart, the master at arms.

I read this book. It was difficult a little.

And he falls in love. but the girl's name is Lorna Doone and Carver Doone is going to marry her. What will John do?

 One day, Mr scrooge live in the town. He is a mean person. However, peple around him are very kind to him. On Christmas night, three spirit emerge in front of him, he are suprised. These spirits show him "past ","now"and "future". He see his terrible behavior for people  and  reflect it. And also he is afraid of becoming future as it is. So he decide to change from now on. After that, he is loved by everyone.

BR:12 The black cat

One day, two archaeologists chase criminal who steel burial treasure. This treasure is the black cat. They continue to chase criminals, but criminals involved with this trouble. Some criminals died. It was difficult to solve this case. In the middle of solution, only one archaeologist survey this case. Can he arrest the criminals...?

I was nervous  to read this book. II think that an archaeologist is bravely.

BR:11 Little women

1861,Massachusetts, North America, There is a civil war. This is the story of four sisters- Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy March. The March girls live with their mother in a small house in a small town. Their father is away. He is with the Union Army. Laurie Laurence lives in a big house with his grandfather. Laurie is the March girl's neighbour. And he is their best friend.

I was moved to read this book. If we challenge everything, we can get happy life.
